You can choose soft enamel pins, which uses a custom mold created in the shape of the customer's choosing. They'll create a stamp on the metal resulting in raised faces like those on a coin. The recessed surface areas are filled with color. We offer optional plating in 18 karat gold, silver, nickel and black nickel. We also have several choices for antiquing.
If you choose photo etching, it differs from soft enamel in the way the art is applied to the pins. A computer takes your art and etches it into the surface of the pin. Those areas are then filled in with the requested colors of your choosing. Once the color process is complete, the trading pins are fired in a kiln. The end result is a great product with a lasting finish. We also offer a number of plating options.
You can also choose offset digital pins, which differ in their production in that there is no stamping or etching. These have a flat surface that's ready for the image to be applied. They can also accept a photographic image of the art you submit. Gradient colors can be used for this process, which isn't an option with the other two methods.
